Money Isn’t All That Important
by @Shiuan Butler
Now don’t get me wrong, as an entrepreneur I understand very well cashflow is oxygen, as a certain someone keeps reminding me. And if you are sick or dying, medical help and being able to pay for it is very important. But what’s really important to people who are dying is being able to say goodbye to their loved ones and figuring out how to say all the things that had been left unsaid throughout their lives. I know a woman who started a businessspecifically to help families communicate during those times. She created it because of what she went through when her husband died. Money has nothing to do with all of that. Laughter, a sunset, the look in someone’s eyes when you see how much they care, money can’t buy any of that. Yes, money always helps. It certainly makes life easier. But money is never the point. It will behoove you in your search for your work or your passion to keep in mind the distinction.
